Why is an export / report marked as inactive?

Exports / reports which have been deactivated in the Exports & Reports Administration module are marked as '(inactive)'.

When an export / report is marked with the text '(inactive)' behind it, the export / report has been deactivated.

What means an inactive report?

A report can be deactivated because it's no longer applicable for you as a customer, the data is from previous years (for example a project list report for year 2022). The generated reports stay available for you as a user but it's no longer possible to request the report again.

When a export / report gets updated by SyncForce because additional information is added to the export / report, the existing report is always updated to the new version. Only in exceptional situations the old report will be deactivated and the new report will be activated.

  • Unfold the report (click on the V on the left) and see the report variants which have been deactivated
  • Click on the link 'Activate' to activate the report again
  • Go to 'Exports & Reports » Exports & Reports' and see that the report is listed again without the text '(inactive)' behind it.
