Why are some fields missing in the bulk update module?

The Bulk update functionality is available in Manage Product Portfolio » Product Data » Bulk Update and gives the user the possibility to update Single and Multi select attributes in bulk.

The following fields are excluded from bulk updating

• Inherited Attributes: All attributes where the value can be inherited from components are not listed in the list of field in bulk update
• Lead Attributes: All attributes which also set the value for Derived Attributes.
• Derived Attributes: All attributes for which the value is set by selecting a Lead Attribute value.
