SyncForce has a 'Status page' on which major issues are mentioned. This status page can be found at https://status.syncforce.com. Top right on this page there is the option to 'Subscribe to updates'. When you do so, you will be notified via email when issues have been logged.
The SyncForce status page also informs their subscribers on scheduled maintenance, mainly used for new releases to Go Live.
