What direct link options are available to navigate to a product in the Product Catalog?

Formats of the direct link / deep link to a product in the Product Catalog are in this article.

Products in the SyncForce Product Catalog can be reached via direct links. 

The link has a standard format where you can use 3 different identifiers to direct a user from for example your ERP system toward the full product information in SyncForce:

  • GTIN
  • UMID
  • Article number

The format of these deep links is:

  • https://{myportal}.syncforce.com/productcatalog/01/{GTIN}
  • https://{myportal}.syncforce.com/productcatalog/02/{UMID}
  • https://{myportal}.syncforce.com/productcatalog/03/{Articlenr}

The user might have to sign in first in case the user was not yet signed in, in either SyncForce in  your Single Sign On system. So the product is only available for SyncForce users.

NOTES:

  • Pay attention to the GTIN if it’s starts with or without the 0. The GTIN as assigned to the item in SyncForce is the one that should be used.
  • Direct links to Article Numbers with dots and slashes can be used .
  • When the user has no access to the Product Catalog, the user will get a message on the Landing page on this.
  • When 0 or multiple products are found based on the given URL or the user has no access to the product, the user will be redirected to a ‘Product not found’ page.
