What are the digital life cycle statuses for products and what do they mean?

In SyncForce Product Data Management the concept of "status" refers to the Digital Life Cycle (DLC) state of a product within the system.

SyncForce supports 3 Life Cycles

  • Product Life Cycle (PLC): Whether a product is still in development, in production or is phased out.
  • Trade Life Cycles (TLC):  For managing whether a product can be ordered in a specific market or channel.
  • Digital Life Cycle (DLC):  This lifecycle controls the status of the data.
