Publication status keeps 'pending', what to do?

You've published a trade hierarchy but the request does not go to Succeeded or Failed and it's already days ago.

When you've published a trade hierarchy already days ago and the request stays on 'Pending' (the color stays grey), this happens when the data channel is not giving back a response (succesfull or failed).  Especially in GS1-GDSN the response can take up to 3 days. But if it takes longer, is most likely the case the response will not be received anymore. Trade hierarchies for which the latest request is Pending cannot be resend and thus currently the only solution is to send a Request for Action to the SyncForce Support Team so they can manually set the response to 'Failed'. In that case, the Product Manager user can republish the trade hierarchy.

To check the publication status:

  • Manage Product Portfolio
  • Go to the product
  • Tab 'Publication status'
  • See the grey square at the end of the request instead of a red or green square.
