Main image on Master & Variant level, use from master, or not
How is defined which main image applies to a sales unit, packaging component or food component / semi-finished good. The setting 'Use main image from master' explained.
Every sales unit, packaging component, food component / semi-finished good can have a main image. This main image can be defined on variant level and applies to only this specific variant. Or, when the main image is the same for all variants, the main image can be defined on master level. For example for sales units in different sizes.
Per SyncForce customer is defined if the main image, defined on master level, can apply to the underlying variants or not. Some customers assign a main image to the master but this is a main image which is very specific for the master only and cannot be used for the variants. For example a combination shot where multiple variants are in this image.
By default, the setting to use the main image from master level is ON. Ask your SyncForce Implementation Partner to adjust this setting for you.
