Is the "orderable until" automatically set when a target or market is unpublished in GS1-GDSN?

The "orderable until" date can be set manually. But if this date is not set, it is set automatically bij GDSN when depublishing a market or target in GS1.

When you unpublish a goal or item without specifying an end date, the GSDN network automatically sets the "Orderable Until" date to one day ahead of the current date and time. This feature ensures that every unpublished GS1 target has a definite 'Orderable Until' date, even if it wasn't initially set by the user.

Here's how it works: If a GS1 target lacks an 'Orderable Until' date, the system will automatically populate this field with the timestamp of the current date plus 24 hours at the exact moment the user selects 'Unpublish Target.'

Example: If you unpublish a target at 12:50 PM on October 10th, the system will automatically set the 'Orderable Until' date and time to 12:50 PM on October 11th.

This functionality helps maintain order and predictability, ensuring that all items have a clear and visible timeline for ordering, even after being unpublished.
