How to add new Brand to SyncForce?

With similar brands existing out there, it becomes important to uniquely identify these and determine ownership before you start using them in SyncForce.

Three step process

Check if the Brand in question is already registered, if not, register the Brand and the last step is to have the Brand activated in SyncForce by your implementation partner.

1. Check Brand registry

Just like GTINs uniquely identify products and GLNs identify companies, we have Global Brand Identification Numbers (=GBINs) identifying Brands. Check the gbin.info website if the brand is already registered. If it is, note down the GBIN and skip step 2.

2. Register Brand

Fill out the registration form for your Brand and within a day or two you'll receive your GBIN!

3. Activate Brand

Provide your implementation partner with a list of the Brands and their GBINs and they will configure them for you to use in SyncForce including all the brand related roles & responsibilities in the different applications in SyncForce:

  • Project Brands Rights, including cost center & resource center settings
  • Product & Digital Asset Brand rights, for managing and viewing in portal/product catalog
