How to identify the IP addresses in use at our company?

These IP addresses are needed to configure the SyncForce test (.cloud) environment for you.

To get access to the SyncForce test environment (.cloud) all the external IP addresses that will connect to the SyncForce platform and APIs will have to be whitelisted. This can be an office connection, VPN connection, proxy and/or security provider like zscaler. Only these will be whitelisted to get access. Private home connections from users that work remote are NOT whitelisted.

Specific information when a user uses a VPN connection

Users often work with a VPN connection when working from another location than the office location. This means that all Internet traffic is directed via 1 or a range of IP addresses. All these IP addresses (or ranges) then need to be whitelisted.

The easiest way to get a list of IP addresses which are in use by your company and which need to be whitelisted, is to contact your IT department. If you do want to check yourself which IP address you're working on, connect to the VPN if needed and go to the site https://whatismyipaddress.com/.

VPN split tunneling

VPN split tunneling divides your network traffic into two separate connections. Part of your online traffic goes through a VPN server's encrypted tunnel, keeping it protected. The rest of your traffic can access the Internet directly without going through the VPN tunnel.

In case of a VPN split tunnel configuration your IT department needs to configure the VPN such that the IP range 178.211.151.0/24 is routed through the VPN connection.
